1. – Iron Maiden // Wed. 10 May. // Sheffield Arena – – (£46)

Iron Maiden, quite possibly one of metal’s most influential and definitely longest enduring bands, is coming to the Sheffield Arena. The distinctive voice of Bruce Dikinson sets them apart, and since 1975 they have been leading the way in British metal music. A staggering sixteen albums later and Iron Maiden are still persisting. This is sure to be an iconic show.

2. – Gnarwolves // Sat. 13 May // The Harley – – (£5)

After a three year break, Gnarwolves are back with their own unique brand of rough-around-the-edges punk rock. Their second album ‘Outsiders’ was released this year, and the band seems truly to be back for a vengeance. With a nostalgic 90’s sound, this band is known for its high octane and energetic shows. And at only £5 a pop, what’s not to love?

3. – The View // Sun. 14 May // Sheffield Student’s Union – – (£17.50)

The View are an iconic Scottish band from the early 2000’s. They rose to fame during the burgeoning indie rock sound, and haven’t looked back since. Their fifth album ‘Ropewalk’ was released two years ago in 2015, so a tour hints at some new music on the horizon. Their positive and upbeat guitar tracks are a surefire way to get you on your feet and dancing. What’re you waiting for?
